Ik heb gisteravond heerlijk de 4 kaarten afgemaakt... Toen ik gisteravond bezig was besefte ik hoe erg ik het gemist heb... haha. Vandaag een Softpencil kaartje, want het is Softpencil donderdag!

De eerste creatie uit Olst!!!

Eindelijk... de eerste creatie gemaakt op mijn hobbyzolder in Olst! Even was ik bang dat ik het niet meer kon, want het is wel meer dan 6 weken geleden dat ik mijn laatste kaart gemaakt heb. :-)
Finally... the first creation made on my hobby-attic out of Olst! First I was afraid that I can't craft anymore, because it's more than 6 weeks ago when I've made my last card. :-)

Toen ik gisteravond thuiskwam stond er een pakje voor me klaar. Dat waren mijn 2 cartridges die ik besteld heb bij Cutstore, een fantastische webwinkel met Cricut cartridges voor een leuke prijs en een geweldige service. Die moest ik natuurlijk meteen uitproberen. Vandaag had ik gelukkig een dagje vrij. Ik heb dus ook de hele dag op mijn zolder gezeten.
Yesterday evening when I came home there was a package for me. That were my 2 cartridges which I've ordered at Cutstore, a fantastic webshop with Cricut cartridges for a nice price and a great service. Of course I had to try them. Today I had a free day, luckely. So I've sat the whole day on my attic.

Ik heb een tasje gemaakt met behulp van de Cricut Expression. Ik zal hieronder stap voor stap laten zien hoe ik dat gedaan heb.
I've made a bag with the aid of the Cricut Expression. Below I'll show step by step how I've done that.

Wat heb je nodig?
What do you need to have?



-Cricut expression
-Cricut Design Studio
-Cricut cartridges: Accent Essentials, Create a Critter, Plantin Schoolbook
-designpaper from Basic Grey, Olivia
-ColorCore cardstock: Meadow, Leapfrog, Satin Rose and Tank
-black Papicolor cardstock
-a piece of mica
-Cuttlebug embossing stencil Floral Screen
-ric-rac ribbon
-2 brads
-quickutz Washers die
-Distress ink Forest Moss

Het tasje heb ik bewerkt met de Cricut Design Studio. Ik heb het tasje wat uitgerekt door het hoger te maken en ik heb er een ovaaltje uitgesneden. Beide figuren, het tasje en het ovaaltje, komen van de cartridge Plantin Schoolbook.
I've worked the bag in the Cricut Design Studio. I've stretched the bag through made it a little bit higher and I've cut an oval out of it. Both figures, the bag and the oval, are from the cartridge Plantin Schoolbook.



Daarna heb ik het tasje uitgesneden met de Cricut Expression.
After that I've cut the bag with the Cricut Expression.



Na het snijden haal je het tasje voorzichtig van de snijmat met behulp van de speciale Cricut spatel.
Atfer the cutting you can take the bag carefully from the cutting mat with the aid of the special Cricut spatula.

Op het tasje heb ik een kikkertje gemaakt met de cartridge Create a Critter. In het boekje van de cartridge kun je precies zien uit hoeveel lagen de kikker bestaat. Snijd de verschillende lagen uit in de verschillende kleuren cardstock.
On the bag I've made a little frog with the cartridge Create a Critter. In the book of the cartridge you can exactly see how many layers the frog contents. Cut the different layers with the different colours cardstock.



Ik heb 2 bloemen gesneden met de cartridge Accent Essentials. De roze rondjes op de bloemen zijn washers, gemaakt met een Quickutz stans. Zo komen de brads mooier uit.
I've cut 2 flowers with the cartridge Accent Essentials. The pink circles on the flowers are washers, made with a Quickutz die. Now the brads look more beautiful.

Ik heb een stukje mica geembost met Cuttlebug embossing stencil Floral Screen.
I've embossed a piece of mica with Cuttlebug embossing stencil Floral Screen.

Dan kan nu het tasje in elkaar gezet worden. Het tasje zelf heb ik geplakt met dubblezijdig tape, het ric rac lintje met Tacky Glue van Aleene's, de kikker en de bloemen op foamtape. Als afwerking heb ik alle randen van het tasje bewerkt met Distress inkt Forest Moss.
Now the bag can be made together. I've stick the bag with doublesided tape, the ric rac ribbon with Tacky Glue from Aleene's, the frog and the flowers with foamtape. As finishing touch I've inked all the edges of the bag with Distress ink Forest Moss.

En dan het resultaat...

Het scrappapier is dubbelzijdig, dus de binnenkant van het tasje ziet er ook leuk uit.
The designpaper is double-sided, so the inside of the bag is also looking nice.



De grote bloem heb ik uitgesneden op 8 cm.
I've cut the big flower on 8 cm.



Helaas is het moeilijk te zien dat het mica geembost is, maar zo kun je het wel aardig zien...
Unfortunately it's difficult to see that the mica is embossed, but so you can see it a little bit...

Ik ben benieuwd wat jullie van dit tasje vinden. Het was erg leuk om te maken. Als jullie het leuk vinden zal ik vaker een werkbeschrijving maken... Nu ga ik weer snel naar mijn zolder, want er liggen nog 4 kaarten klaar die ik nog moet plakken voor morgen...
I'm curious if you like this bag. It was very funny to do. When you like it I'll make often a tutorial... Now I'm quickly going to my attic, because I've got 4 cards which must be ready before tomorrow...

hobby-attic: The result!

Eindelijk heb ik alles een plekje gegeven. Alle kasten zitten vol. Ik heb alles zo ingedeeld dat ik overal makkelijk bij kan komen. De dingen die ik vaak gebruik staan in de boekenkast en de rest zit in het andere kastje.
Finally I've given everything a place. All the cabinets are full. I've set all the things in a easy way. The things which I use often are in the book-cabinet and the other things are in the other cabinet.



Nu heb ik alle spullen netjes bij elkaar. Papier in een kast, alle bloemen, lintjes, roosjes, Grannies in een kast, enz. In ons vorige huis had ik heel veel spullen op mijn eigen kamer liggen en was het altijd een rommeltje als ik bezig was.
Now I've all the things together. Papers in a cabinet, all the flowers, ribbon, roses and Grannies in a cabinet, etc. In our other home I had many stuff on my sleepingroom and it was always a mess when I was busy.



Ik heb nog heel veel ruimte over, maar dat houd ik voorlopig zo. Ik houd niet van te veel rommeltjes. Er moet tenslotte ook nog 'gewerkt' worden... ;-)
I've got many space left, but I'll hold that so. I don't like too much mess everywhere. There must be 'worked' here... ;-)



Ik ben echt heel blij met deze prachtige ruimte. Nu moet ik het nog zo netjes zien te houden...
I'm very happy with this beautiful space. Now I have to hold it so properly...

Morgen moet ik werken en ben ik pas half 8 weer thuis. Ik hoop dat ik 's avonds nog wel tijd heb om even wat te gaan knutselen. Ik heb de afgelopen weken wel wat afdrukjes gekleurd, dus de voorbereidende werkzaamheden zijn al gedaan.
Tomorrow I have to work and will be home at half past 7. I hope I can make some time to craft in the evening. In the last weeks I coloured some stamped-images, so the preparations are done.

Ik wil jullie bedanken voor alle leuke en lieve reacties op mijn vervolg-verhaal! Ook vind ik het heel leuk dat jullie aan mij gedacht hebben toen ik aan het verhuizen was.

hobby-attic part 3

Het inrichten van de kasten...

Zo, alle dozen zijn leeg, dus nu kan het inrichten beginnen!
So, all the boxes are empty, so now the setting can be started!



In dit kastje heb ik 12 mooie bakjes voor het scrappapier staan. Ik had er 6, maar ben zaterdag nog even naar Deventer geweest om er nog 6 te halen. Nu zijn de bovenste 2 vakken mooi gevuld. In de onderste 2 vakken staan ordners en tijdschriftcassettes.
In this cabinet I have 12 nice baskets for my designpaper. I had 6 ones, but Saturday I went to Deventer to buy 6 other ones. Now the 2 spaces on the top are filled. On the spaces on the downside I have some folders, etc.



De boekenkast stond eerst op mijn slaapkamer, maar ik wilde hem graag op zolder hebben om al mijn potjes en emmertjes met bloemen, lint en Grannies in te doen. Ook staat mijn Cuttlebug erin. In de laatjes onderin zitten mallen en stanzen voor de Cuttlebug. Er staan nog maar 3 cartridges voor de Cricut, maar dat zal snel veranderen. Ik heb er gisteren 2 besteld, dus die hoop ik deze week binnen te krijgen... ;-)
The bookcabinet was first on my sleepingroom, but I want to have it on my attic to put all my pots and buckets with flowers, ribbons and Grannies in it. The Cuttlebug is also in it. In the drawers on the downside are my shapes and folders for the Cuttlebug. There are 3 cartridges for the Cricut, but that will change soon. Yesterday I ordered 2, so I hope I'll receive them this week... ;-)

hobby-attic part 2

Het uitpakken van de dozen...
Unpacking the boxes...



Vanochtend ben ik begonnen met het uitpakken van de 18 dozen op mijn hobbyzolder. Het is een hele klus, want alle dozen helemaal zitten helemaal vol. Met het inpakken heb ik echt elk klein gaatje opgevuld.
This morning I started with the unpacking of the 18 boxes at my hobby-attic. It's a lot of work, because the boxes are overloaded. I used every little gap with the packing.



Omdat ik nu meer ruimte heb wil ik alle spullen anders neer gaan zetten... Hoe ik dat precies ga doen weet ik nog niet. Ik hoop dat ik genoeg kastruimte heb, ehm...
Because I have more space now I want to set all the stuff at an other place. I don't know how I'm going to do that. I hope that I've got enough space in the cabinets, ehm...



Ik heb nu bijna alle dozen leeg. De hele zolder staat nu vol met kleine potjes, papier, doosjes, enz. Straks komt deel 3: Het inrichten van de kasten.
I nearly have all the boxes empty. The whole attic is full with little pots, paper, boxes, etc now. Soon part 3: Setting the cabinets.

I'm moved! / hobby-attic part 1

Zo, vanaf 08-09-2010 ben ik officieel inwoner van Olst ;-)... De verhuizing is goed en snel verlopen. De verhuizers kwamen om 8 uur en waren om half 3 al klaar. De verhuizers hebben ook de meubels weer gemonteerd, dus dat hoefden we zelf niet te doen. We hebben al meer dan 100 lege dozen, maar er staan er ook nog heel veel die nog uitgepakt moeten worden... genoeg te doen dus! Ik heb mijn kamer al ingericht, alleen daarvoor had ik al 12 dozen! Alle slaapkamers zijn klaar, nu 'alleen' de keuken, de woonkamer en de zolder nog... Alleen al op mijn deel van de zolder staan 18 dozen die bomvol zitten met mijn hobbyspullen.
So, from the 8th of September 2010 I'm a official citizen of Olst ;-)... The removal has been going quickly and well. The movers were here at 8 o'clock and were ready at half past 2. The movers have also assembled the furnitures, so we haven't do that by ourselves. We've more than 100 empty boxes now, but there are very many ones which have to be unpacked... so, enough work to do! I've set my own room, only for that I had 12 boxes! All the sleepingrooms are set, now 'only' the kitchen, the living room and the attic... Only at my part of the attic there are 18 boxes which are crowded with my hobbystuff.

Om jullie op de hoogte te houden van de gebeurtenissen op mijn hobbyzolder ga ik een soort vervolg-verhaal maken ;-). Vandaag deel 1: Het schoonmaken van de kasten.
To notify you about the events at my hobby-attic I'm going to make a sort of serie ;-). Today part 1: Cleaning the cabinets.







Zoals jullie kunnen zien staat het nog helemaal vol met spullen. De tafel met de 4 stoelen, de lampen en het vinyl zijn nieuw, de kasten had ik al, maar nu kan alles ruim staan.
So as you can see it's full with stuff. The table with the 4 chairs, the lights and the flooring are new, I already had the cabinets, but now they can stand widely.

Morgen ga ik de dozen uitpakken, daar zal ik ook foto's van maken. Kunnen jullie zien hoeveel spullen ik heb. Ook ga ik gelijk wat leuke dingetjes uitzoeken voor een candy.... Ik ben er met het inpakken achtergekomen dat ik wel heel veel papier, embellishments, enzo heb...
Tomorrow I'm going to unpack the boxes, I'll make some pictures of that. Than you can see how much stuff I have. I'm also going to search some nice things for a candy....When I was packing the boxes I concluded that I have many papers and embellishment and stuff like that...

Ik heb nog een leuk nieuwtje...

Ik heb sinds 6 september een baan! Ik werk voor 4 dagen in de week bij Action. Op dit moment ben ik nog aan het inwerken in Zwolle, maar vanaf 20 september mag ik gaan helpen met het inrichten van de nieuwe Action in Olst. Daar ga ik dus echt werken. Het is maar 5 minuutjes fietsen vanaf ons huis. Ik ben me nog aan het oriënteren voor een vervolgopleiding. Dit jaar ga ik lekker werken en voorbereidingen treffen voor de AnMaCreatief webshop, want dat is toch echt mijn grote droom, een eigen hobby(web)winkel...
I've got a job since the 6th of September! I'm working for 4 days at Action. At the moment I'm working at Zwolle, but from the 20th of September I'm going to help with the setting of the new Action at Olst. That's the place where I'm really going to work. It's 5 minutes cycling from our home. I'm still orientating for a study. This year I'm going to work and make the prepare for the AnMaCreatief webshop, because that's my big dream, an own hobby(web)shop...

Morgen, 2 augustus 2010 krijgen wij de sleutel van ons nieuwe huis in Olst. Ik ben dan natuurlijk veel in het nieuwe huis bezig en heb dus geen tijd om jullie blogs te bezoeken en mijn eigen blog te beheren. Daarom heb ik alle berichten vanaf nu tot en met 10 september ingepland. Er komen wel berichten op mijn blog, maar ik ben er dus niet....
Tomorrow, the 2nd of August we will receive the key of our new home in Olst. Of course from that time I'm busy in our new home and haven't got time to visit your blogs and manage my own blog. That's why I've planned in all my posts from now till the 10th of September. So there will come messages on my blog, but I'm not here...

Ook zal ik een tijdje geen internet hebben, dus mailen heeft even niet zoveel zin, want ik kan niets beantwoorden. Vanaf half september ben ik weer in blogland.
I haven't got internet for a while, so mailing has no sense, because I can't answer anything. From the half of September I'm back in blogland.

Ik heb afgelopen week de laatste kaart in mijn huis in Hellevoetsluis gemaakt, snif, snif.... De volgende kaart ga ik maken op mijn 'mega-hobbyzolder' in Olst! Joepie, ik vind het echt zo gaaf dat ik straks de ruimte heb om al mijn spullen leuk uit te stallen.
Last week I've made the last card in our home in Hellevoetsluis, snif, snif.... I'm going to make my next card on my 'super hobby-attic' in Olst! Yeah, it's so amazing that I'll have space to put all my stuff in a nice place.

Ik hoop dat ik af en toe nog even met mijn laptop op mijn blog kan kijken, want ik ga het allemaal wel missen hoor...
I hope that I can sometimes check my blog on my laptop, because I'm going to miss it all...
