Deze week was mijn opdracht als Design-Team Member: gebruik de digi Two birds on a kite (kalender).
This week my assignment as Design-Team Member was: use the digi Two birds on a kite (calendar).



Toen ik de digi kreeg wist ik niet meteen wat ik ervan moest maken... Een Scrap lay out vond ik niet zo leuk en voor op een kaart vond ik de digi te groot.
Toen ik tijdens mijn werk bij Action langs de rij van de fotolijstjes liep wist ik het opeens...
When I've got this digi I didn't know directly what I have to do with it... I didn't like a scrap lay out and for a card is the digi too big. When I came during my work at Action along the aisle of the photoframes I get an idea...

Ik heb deze keer de digi in Photoshop gekleurd. Ook de achtergrond heb ik een leuk kleurtje gegeven.
I've coloured the digi in Photoshop this time. I've also given the background a nice colour.

Ik heb het fotolijstje leuk neergezet bij mijn Cricut en laptop. Het is handig om een kalender op mijn bureau te hebben.
I've put the photoframe next to my Cricut and laptop. It's very handy to have a calender on my desk.



Ik heb de achtergrond roze gemaakt, omdat ik heel veel roze accessoires op mijn zolder heb staan.
I've made the background pink, because I've many pink accessoires on my attic.

Het gave stempel heb ik bij Action gekocht. Er zijn in totaal 6 verschillende sets, dus die heb ik allemaal maar genomen. :-) Het is toch wel erg verleidelijk hoor als je de hele dag in zo'n winkel met leuke spullen werkt... hihi.
I've bought the amazing stamp at Action. In total there are 6 different sets, so I've taken them all. :-) It's just very tempting when you're working the whole day in a shop with such nice things... LOL.

EHI Challenge-alles behalve een kaart

Vandaag is het tijd voor mijn eerste challenge bij Een Hoop Inspiratie Challengeblog.

De opdracht voor deze week is: alles behalve een kaart.
The assignment for this week is: anything but a card.

Ik heb een doosje gemaakt met mijn Scor-Pal metric. Het doosje heb ik zelf ontworpen. Ik vond het leuk om er een tutorial van te maken voor jullie...
I've made a box with my Scor-Pal metric. I've designed the box by myself. I just like it to make a tutorial about it for you...

Wat heb je nodig?
What do you need?



-Scor-Pal
-afdrukje Forever Friends ingekleurd met Derwent Coloursoft potloden
-1 stuk cardstock van 26 x 30 cm
-4 stukjes scrappapier van 13,5 x 5,5
-2 stukjes scrappapier van 5,5 x 5,5 cm
-tekstje met Nestabilities Standard Circle Large en Scallop Circle Large
-swirls gemaakt met een Bosskut stans
-kantrandje
-bloemen, brads, roosjes, Grannies

Leg het cardstock zo op je Scor-Pal dat de kant van 30 cm bovenaan ligt. Score op 2 en op 8 cm. Draai nu je papier 180 graden en score nogmaals op 2 en 8 cm.
Put your cardstock in the Scor-Pal with the 30 cm side above. Score at 2 and 8 cm. Turn your paper 180 degrees and score again at 2 and 8 cm.

Leg nu de kant van 26 cm boven en score op: 2, 8, 14 en 20 cm. Alles is nu gerild.
Put the paper with 26 cm above and score at 2, 8, 14 and 20 cm. Everything is scored now.



Snijd de stukjes met een rood kruisje eraf.
Cut the pieces with a red cross away.



Alle stukjes zijn er nu af. Snijd nu op de plaatsen van de rode lijnen, dat worden de flapjes voor het deksel. Ik heb het stukje van het deksel afgerond met de Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper.
All the pieces are away now. Cut now on the places of the red lines, that will be the pieces for the cover. I've punched the piece of the cover with the Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper.



Nu moeten de stukjes scrappapier erop geplakt worden.
Now the pieces designpaper have to put with glue on it.

Het doosje kan in elkaar gezet worden...
The box can be 'fixed' together...



En dan het eindresultaat...
And than the endresult...



Rondom heb ik een kantrandje geplakt, dat vind ik altijd leuk voor een doosje.
I've put a lace-ribbon around the box, I always like that for a box.

Boven op het deksel heb ik een Nestabilitie geplakt met een tekstje. Het tekststempel komt uit een clearstamp set van Marianne Design.
On the top of the cover I've put a Nestabilitie with a sentiment. The text-stamp comes out of a clearstamp set from Marianne Design.



De swirl is gemaakt met een stans van Bosskut, ik vind dit een hele mooie stans.
The swirl is made with a die from Bosskut, I love this beautiful die.

geboortekaartje Mauro

Dit geboortekaartje heb ik gemaakt voor buren uit Hellevoetsluis die een zoon hebben gekregen.
I've made this birthcard for neighbours out of Hellevoetsluis who have got a son.



Het lieve stempel is van Eline Pellinkhof. Op het geboortekaartje stonden blauw met limegroene giraffes, dus ik heb ook mijn kaart in die kleuren gemaakt.
The cute stamp is from Eline Pellinkhof. On the birthcard were some blue with limegreen giraffes, so I've made my card in those colours.

Ook vind ik het altijd leuk om de naam van het kindje op de kaart te zetten, want dan is het toch net iets persoonlijker. Ik heb hiervoor mijn alfabet-stansjes van Double Do gebruikt.
I always like it to put the name of the child on the card, becasue it's just a little bit more personal than. For that I've used my alphabet-die-cuts from Double Do.

Little dog and Christmas tree

DTC #83 I've been framed

Het is dinsdag, dus tijd voor een challenge bij Digital Tuesday!
It's Tuesday, so it's time for a challenge at Digital Tuesday!



Het thema voor deze week is: I've been framed. Maak een kaart met een frame. Ik heb een frame gemaakt met mijn Nestabilities. Eerst heb ik een geschulpt ovaaltje gestanst en daarna een gewoon ovaaltje uit het geschulpte ovaaltje gehaald. Ik heb het frame op foamtape geplakt, zo komt het wat meer naar voren. om het frame wat 'op te leuken' heb ik er kleine rondjes opgeplakt. Deze rondjes zijn de afvalstukjes die uit mijn Martha Stewart pons Two Dot komen. Het was wel even een werkje om alle rondjes netjes op het frame te krijgen, maar het resultaat is wel leuk... ;-)
The theme for this week is: I've been framed. Make a card with a frame. I've made a frame with my Nestabilities. First I cut out a scalloped oval and after that I've taken a normal oval out of the scallopped oval. I've put the frame on foamtape, now it will come more to the front. To give the frame something extra I've put little dots on it. These dots are the waste pieces of my Martha Stewart punch Two Dot. It spend some time to get all the dots properly on the frame, but the result is just nice... ;-)

Op het afdrukje en op de Cuttlebug embossing heb ik wat Colorbox inkt gedaan. Eerst een laagje turquoise, maar dat vond ik er toch niet zo bij kleuren... daarom heb ik er nog een laagje limegroen overheen gedaan. Nu is het precies de goede kleur en je hebt een leuk effect van 2 kleuren...
I've put some Colorbox ink on the image and on the Cuttlebug embossing. First a layer of turquoise, but I thought that it wasn't the right colour, so I've put a layer of limegreen over it. Now it's exactly the colour and you've a nice effect of 2 colours...

Het gave glitter-scrappapier is van K&Company. Ik ben echt dol op papier met roze en turquoise.
The cool sparkle-designpaper is from K&Company. I really adore paper with pink and turquoise.
