Ik ben vandaag naar de Knotsgekke kaarten-en scrapdagen geweest. Het was wel druk, maar erg leuk. Ik heb natuurlijk weer heel veel nieuwe spullen gekocht. Ook heb ik een aantal bloggers ontmoet. Morgen zal ik een foto van mijn aankopen maken. Jullie zien het wel verschijnen...

Karen's Doodles uitdaging 1

Mijn digi's van Karen's Doodles lagen al tijdje te wachten om gekleurd te worden. Nu de eerste uitdaging van start is gegaan heb ik eindelijk tijd kunnen maken om zo'n lieve digi te kleuren. Zulke schattige plaatjes kun je toch eigenlijk niet laten liggen!
My Karen's Doodles digis were waiting for a long time to be coloured. Now I finally got time to colour a cute digi for the first challenge.

Zijn het geen schatjes? Herbert en Bigsby die lekker een kopje thee drinken. Het was een uitdaging om het kleedje mooi te krijgen, maar het is volgens mij wel aardig gelukt.
Van alle afbeeldingen die Karen tekent is Herbert de schildpad mijn favoriet. Hij is zo schattig.
Aren't they cuties? Herbert and Bigsby who were drinking a nice cup of tea. It was a challenge to colour the table-center, but I think the result is just good. From all the images Karen draws Herbert the turtle is my favorite. He's so cute.

80 jaar

Vandaag is mijn opa jarig. Hij is 80 jaar geworden.
Today it's the birthday of my Grandad. He has become 80 years.



Deze prachtige digistamp At Sea van Digital Stamp Oasis is heel geschikt voor een mannenkaart. Er zijn niet zoveel leuke stempels voor mannen, maar deze vind ik erg mooi.
This beautiful digistamp At Sea from Digital Stamp Oasis is very suitable for a men card. There aren't so many nice stamps for men, but I really like this one.



Op deze kaart heb ik 2 gehaakte Grannies gebruikt. Opa en oma vinden het allebei erg leuk om te zien hoe de Grannies op een kaart staan. Opa gaat altijd met oma mee om nieuwe ringetjes en garen te kopen. Oma is nu weer lekker aan het haken voor mij...
I've used 2 chrochet Grannies on this card. Grandad and Grandma really like it how the Grannies look like on a card. Grandad is always going with my Grandma to buy new rings and thread. Grandma is just croching for me right now...

Ik heb echt zo'n zin in morgen.... Dan ga ik, net als elk jaar, gezellig samen met mijn moeder naar de Knotsgekke kaarten- en scrapdagen in Den Bosch. Lekker de nieuwste spullen bekijken én natuurlijk ook iets kopen. Heb al een lijstje klaarliggen.
Wie gaat er nog meer? Misschien tot zaterdag...

Michu, his friend and a paper boat

Het is weer donderdag, dus Softpencil dag!
It's thursday, so it's Softpencil day!



Het thema voor deze week is embossing in combinatie met de digistamp Michu, his friend and a paper boat.
The theme this week is embossing and using the digistamp Michu, his friend and a paper boat.



Zijn het geen schatjes? Ik heb ze in lieve, lichte kleurtjes gekleurd, dat vind ik echt bij deze lieve digistamps passen.
Ik heb Cuttlebug embossing stencil Perfectly Paisley gebruikt. Na het embossen heb ik het papier bewerkt met lila Colorbox inkt. Nu komt het geemboste deel meer naar voren.
Aren't they cuties? I coloured them in lovely, light colours. I think it fits so good with these lovely digistamps.
I've used the Cuttlebug embossing stencil Perfectly Paisley. After embossing I inked the embossed paper with lilac Colorbox ink. Now you can see the embossed part better.

Het roze papier is behang. Ik heb de cirkel geembost met Cuttlebug stencil D'ivine Swirl. De kleine bloemetjes heb ik in Duitsland gekocht. Zijn ze niet schattig met een pareltje erop?
The pink paper is wallpaper. I embossed the circle with Cuttlebug stencil D'ivine Swirl. I've bought the little flowers in Germany. Aren't they cute with the pearls on them?

Picknick

Vandaag een lekker fris kaartje met lente kleuren.
Today a fresh card with Spring colours.



Het stempel dat ik heb gebruikt is van Ollyfant. Het was heel leuk om haar jurk en haar te kleuren met mijn Derwent potloden.
The stamp which I've used is from Ollyfant. It was very nice to colour her dress and hair with my Derwent pencils.



Het schitterende scrappapier is van October Afternoon. Ik vond de appeltjes in het papier heel goed bij het appeltje van het meisje passen. De grote Prima flower had ik al een tijdje liggen, maar hij kleurde steeds nergens bij. Bij dit papier past hij perfect. Ik vind hem echt mooi op deze kaart.
The beautiful design paper is from October Afternoon. I think the apples in the paper fits very good with the apple of the girl. I've the big Prima flower for a long time in my flower collection, but it never fits good with the colours from my cards. By this paper it just fits perfect. I think it's beautiful on this card.

De jacks heb ik gemaakt met een Quickutz stans. Ik heb ze uit hetzelfde bruine scrappapier gehaald.
The jacks are made with a Quickutz die. I take them out the same brown designpaper.

Uplifting Occasion

Hehe, wat een vermoeiende schooldag. Ik had vanmiddag mijn spreekbeurt. Niet zomaar een spreekbeurt, nee in het Frans!!! Ik had een heel gaaf onderwerp gekozen: Faire des cartes, oftewel kaarten maken. Ik had wat spulletjes en kaarten meegenomen. Iedereen vond het leuk om te zien, dat je ook andere kaarten kunt maken in plaats van kaarten met theezakjes en 3d plaatjes. Dat kennen ze helemaal niet. Mijn broertje had een diashow gemaakt met mijn 100 leukste kaarten. De beamer stond aan terwijl ik wat vertelde. Het was wel gaaf om mijn kaarten supergroot op een scherm te zien. Volgens mij keek iedereen naar mijn kaarten en niet naar mij (mooi zo). Het ging best wel goed, nu maar hopen op een mooi cijfer.

Today I had a presentation in French at school. I told about card making. I took some funny stuff with me. Everyone like it to see how I make my cards.



Vandaag een hele roze kaart met een gaaf Penny Black stempel. Roze is mijn favoriete kleur, dus ik vond het wel leuk om een kaart helemaal roze te maken.

Today a whole pink card with a cool Penny Black stamp. Pink is my favorite colour, so I like it to make a whole pink card.



Na het kleuren heb ik op het hele plaatje witte stipjes en streepjes gezet met een gelpen. Ik vind het kantrandje er mooi bij passen.

After colouring I made a lot of white dots and stripes on the image with a gelpen. I think the ribbon fits good with the card.

Het is een sketch met veel stukjes, dus ik had een papierlijn uitgezocht waarvan ik veel verschillende vellen heb. Ik had wel 5 verschillende soorten scrappapier, die goed bij elkaar pasten. Misschien wel een beetje te goed, want toen ik alle stukjes gesneden had kon je niet meer zien dat het allemaal aparte stukjes waren. Toen heb ik besloten om er roze cardstock achter te doen.
It's a sketch whit a lot of pieces, so I searched a paperline, of which I have a lot of different papers. I've just got 5 different sorts of paper, which fits good to each other. Maybe a little bit too good, because when I cut all the pieces you can't see it were different pieces. So I decided to put some pink cardstock behind it.

Lilly

Hier is mijn eerste officiële DT-kaartje voor Softpencil. Donderdag is Softpencil-dag. Dus zal ik voortaan elke donderdag mijn nieuwe Softpencil kaarten plaatsen.
Deze week was de opdracht: Maak een kaart met Lilly, een lief meisje dat een bloem aan je geeft.

This week's assignment is: Make a card with Lilly, a cute little girl who's giving you a flower.



Is ze niet lief? Ik heb met een witte gelpen stipjes op haar wangen, de strik en op de ruches van haar jurkje gemaakt. Ik heb haar gekleurd met lichte kleuren, want dat vind ik het liefste en vind ik het best bij haar passen.

Het lieve lint heb ik gekocht in Maastricht tijdens mijn vakantie. Ik had Lilly net gekleurd toen ik ging winkelen. Toen ik het lint zag dacht ik gelijk 'dat is voor Lilly'!

She's cute, isn't she? I made with a white gelpen some dots on her cheeks, the bow and on the ruches of her dress. I coloured her with soft colours, because I think it's the sweetest and it fits good to her.

I've bought the cute ribbon in Maastricht during my holiday. I just coloured Lilly before I went shopping. When I saw the ribbon I thought immediately 'that's for Lilly'!
