Het thema voor de challenge van deze week is: embossing, dry or heat. Ik heb een Nestabilitie met Cuttlebug embossing gebruikt. Na het embossen heb ik er wat Colorbox inkt opgedaan, dat geeft altijd zo'n leuk effect. Vergeet niet om een digi van Phindy's Place te gebruiken...
The theme for this week is: embossing, dry or heat. I've used a Nestabilitie with Cuttlebug embossing. After embossing I add some Colorbox ink on it, that always gives a nice result. Don't forget to use a digi from Phindy's Place.

Deze week was mijn opdracht als Design Team Member: Gebruik een digitaal sentiment voor verjaardag. Elizabeth heeft de sentiments in 3 verschillende talen gemaakt, Engels, Spaans en Nederlands. Ik heb natuurlijk de Nederlandse tekst gebruikt: Fijne Verjaardag.
This week my assignment as Design Team Member was: Use a digital sentiment for Birthday. Elizabeth has made the senitiments in 3 different languages, English, Spanish and Dutch. I've used the Dutch one, of course: Fijne Verjaardag.



Ik vond het leuk om de tekst te combineren met een andere digi van Softpencil. Ik heb een lief jongetje uit de Little Boys Collection gebruikt.
I thought that it was nice to combine the sentiment with another digi from Softpencil. I've used a sweet boy out of the Little Boys Collection.

Natural Trail Ted

Ik heb net een kaartje gemaakt met een heel lief Penny Black stempel.

Mag ik jullie voorstellen.... dit is Ted, Natural Trail Ted. Ted gaat op vakantie met zijn rugzak vol met spullen. Hij gaat de natuur in, lekker wandelen in het bos en mooie bergen beklimmen. Ted gaat dus een hoop ontdekken tijdens dit avontuur...
May I introduce you.... this is Ted, Natural Trail Ted. Ted is going on holiday with his backpack full with stuff. He's going into the nature, making a hike in the forest and climb beautiful mountains. So Ted is going to explore a lot of things during this adventure...

I've searched my Clippunches from Nellie Snellen. I've nearly got them all and in the past I've done very much with it. Now when I've used them I think that they are just really funny.

Zoals jullie weten ben ik een groot fan van Phindy's digi's. Ik vind het altijd een hele leuke uitdaging om ze te kleuren. De digi's van Phindy zijn heel leuk om schaduw in aan te brengen, want er ze zijn heel gedetailleerd. Overal zitten streepjes, stipjes en plooitjes, dat maakt het juist zo leuk. Elke keer als ik een digi van Phindy aan het kleuren ben word ik helemaal vrolijk. Eigenlijk vind ik de digi's van Phindy gewoon de allergaafste digi's die er zijn!
So as you know I'm a big fan of the digis from Phindy. I think it's always a real challenge to colour them. The digis from Phindy are so nice to bring shadow on it, because they are very detailled. There are stripes, dots and folds everywhere and that makes it just so funny. Every time when I'm colouring a digi from Phindy I become so happy. Actually the digis from Phindy are the most amazing digis there are!



Wat is ze toch geweldig he? Vooral haar jurk was erg leuk om te kleuren.
She is amazing, isn't she? Especially her dress was so nice to colour.



Ik heb een mooie grote Prima flower gebruikt en daar een kleinere bloem ingedaan. Ook heb ik weer eens een spacer gebruikt, want die zijn toch ook wel erg leuk.
I've used a beautiful big Prima flower and put a little flower in it. I've also used a spacer, because they are still nice.

Ik vond dat deze kaart met Patty een echte meisjeskaart moest worden, dus daarom een kaart met veel roze en parels.
I thought that this card with Patty must be a real girlycard, so that's why I've made a card with much pink and many pearls.

De Doily Lace pons van Martha Stewart lijkt net op de onderkant van de jurk van Patty.
The Doily Lace from Martha Stewart looks like the bottom of Patty's dress.

Le Tour de France

Vandaag kwam de Tour de France door Hellevoetsluis. Ik hoefde nog geen 200 meter te lopen om de Tour te kunnen zien, dus ben ik natuurlijk even gaan kijken. De route liep langs het Voornse kanaal. Het was erg druk, maar wij hadden een mooi plekje.
Today was the Tour de France in Hellevoetsluis. It was about 200 metres from my home, so I was going to look, of course. The route passes the Voornse kanaal. It was very busy, but we had a nice place.

En natuurlijk de renners. Ze gingen echt heel snel voorbij, maar ik heb ze wel goed kunnen zien.
And the cyclists of course. They were gone in a few seconds, but I've seen them.



Ik had de Tour de France al 3 keer eerder gezien in Frankrijk. Het was heel apart om het zo dicht bij huis te kunnen zien.
I've seen the Tour de France 3 times earlier in France. It was very special to see it so nearly by home.

Het was erg warm en zonnig vandaag. In de 2 uurtjes dat ik naar de Tour heb gekeken ben ik helemaal verbrand. Mijn armen zijn vuurrood nu... :-(
It was very hot and sunny today. In the 2 hours that I was watching the Tour I'm totally burnt. My arms are so red now... :-(

Ik heb de digi Seaside Baby gebruikt. Ik vond het echt geweldig om deze digi te kleuren. Mijn moeder vertelde mij dat ik vroeger toen ik nog een lief klein babietje was ook een badpakje had in rood, wit, blauw met visjes. Eigenlijk was ik dus mezelf aan het kleuren, haha. Toen ik klein was noemde mijn vader me altijd Annie, daarom heb ik deze digi voor mezelf 'Little Annie' genoemd. Oh wat is het toch een schatje...
I've used the digi Seaside Baby. It was so amazing to colour this digi. My mother told me that when I was a sweet little baby I also had a bathingsuit in red, white, blue with little fishes. I've actually coloured myself, LOL. When I was young my father always called me Annie, that's why I named this digi for myself 'Little Annie'. Oh she's just a cutie...



Ik heb een bloem gemaakt met de Shapeabilities Flower Creations van Spellbinders. Ik heb 2 bloemen uit het rode scrappapier gehaald en 2 bloemen uit het blauwe ColorCore. De bloemen uit ColorCore heb ik na het stanzen geembost met Cuttlebug embossing stencil Seeing Spots. Na het embossen heb ik het ColorCore een beetje opgeschuurd met een schuurblokje.
I've made a flower with Shapeabilities Flower Creations from Spellbinders. I've made 2 flowers out of the red design paper and 2 from the blue ColorCore. I've embossed the flowers from ColorCore after die-cutting with Cuttlebug embossing stencil Seeing Spots. After the embossing I abraded the ColorCore a little bit with a sanding block.

Still in the Softpencil team...

4 maanden geleden heb ik verteld dat ik in het Softpencil team zou komen. Eigenlijk was dat van maart tot juli, maar.... Elizabeth heeft mij gevraagd of ik nog eens 4 maanden wil blijven. Natuurlijk heb ik ja gezegd, want dat is toch fantastisch!
4 months ago I've told that I'll come in the Softpencil team. It actually was from March till July, but.... Elizabeth asked me if I wanted to stay another 4 months. Of course I say yes, because it is so fantastic!

I've also used the digi Michu in his graduation day. This is the digi which Elizabeth has especially made for me. Isn't he super cute?
